Oh my gosh, my birthday was so amazing! I know I posted a status about it on facebook, but that doesn't even begin to scratch the surface about how happy I felt ALL day. There's just something about your day of birth that makes you feel grateful to be alive...
I woke up with a present on my porch from Landon, it was a new backpack! I haven't had a new one since 8th grade...so it was about time. I went into work for a few hours, then L picked me up and we went to Tucanos (a Brazilian steakhouse). On the way there, I got a call from Sundance Ski Resort saying they wanted to set up an interview with me. Whaat! I had applied to work in the rental shop kind of as a joke, but I was excited nonetheless. Anyways, Tucanos was so good. I wish it wasn't so expensive or I'd go all the time! But we ate until we were completely and overly stuffed. L dropped me off for class, then afterwards I picked him up so we could go pick up our finished wedding invitations...and he comes walking out with another package. Inside were some beautiful black Nike frees and a new pair of soccer shorts. I was so excited! I don't really like getting presents, but when they're things I actually need, then I'm excited. On the way back from the invitation place we went and got HUGE ice cream sundaes from this delicious place in Thanksgiving point...I thought I was going to puke, no joke. We got back to L's place, he disappeared in to his room for a second, then walks out with ANOTHER huge box! This time it was wrapped, so I knew it wasn't from him (ha). Turns out he told his momma I really, really wanted a sewing machine (I'd been lusting for one all summer) and thats what she got me!!! I was so happy! I'm gonna go sewing crazy the moment I have free time. Right after I opened it, I got a call from this house we were interested in living in next semester and they picked us to sell it to! I really liked this house so I was ecstatic, now we can stop stressing over where to live. Then we ended the day getting all sweaty and sore doing Insanity. That's a whooole 'nother story though. On top of this fantasticness, I received so much love from friends and family via facebook/text/phone calls! Everything about Tuesday was wonderful, I was smiling non-stop. And it was a perfect 70 degrees and sunny all day. Definitely going down in history as the best birthday ever :) Heavenly Father is so wonderful! He just showers us with blessings everyday, we just need to take the time to recognize them

I've been to Tucanos! It's really good. That's the place I tried chicken hearts. Kinda weird. But strangely decent tasting. Sounds like you had an awesome birthday!!
