And am i excited! this conference i made a goal to write down a few questions i hope (know) will be answered by the words of our leaders. it was a year ago this conference that i watched the prophet speak for the first time ever, not knowing how important he was. it was around this time that even though i didn't yet want to be baptized, i was actually toying around with the idea. its so crazy to look back just a year ago and see how my life has played out so much more differently than i could have ever imagined. im in flippin' BYU for goodness sakes! and i'm LDS!!!!!
I got a calling in church on the relief society activities committee! when the councilman was giving me my calling the first things out of his mouth were "relief society" and i almost croaked, i was like me?! but then it turned out to not be a huge responsibility thing so its all good.
So this week is going to be (already is) beyond crazy. three tests three days in a row, countless hours of studying, no time to exercise/eat/sleep/breath...you know the drill. but ya know...hopefully this means good things are on their way.
k so i'm sitting at my friend adam's house (pictured below...yes we're gangster)
at this moment and he just made a blog and is typing away furiously so i thought i'd update mine. anyways, i come over to his place to escape the mayhem that is campus plaza...plus he has reese's peanut butter ice cream that he feeds me haha. thats what i'm thankful for today (especially for this week): this quiet place to come to study with good company. good ol' southern company (i haven't had his fried chicken yet...but that will change soon).
Here's to a sleepless night ahead of me.
p.s. my basketball guys hacked my blog...hence the random post below. but they are my heroes :)
