Let's take the train to anywhere

Can I just start off by saying l love living on my own! I love cooking for myself (and other people too!), i love keeping my spaces clean, i love making my own schedule and being self-sustaining. I have to admit, I'm a tad home sick. I think a trip back to Sactown is in the works...but other then that feeling once in a while I'm getting in a nice little groove here.

This week has been busy, as usual. I didn't do so hot on my first chem test...I dislike getting horrible grades on tests, it really just makes me feel like a failure. but then someone reminded me that they're on a curve and my day got a ton better :) but ya, i may have bitten off more than i could chew academically this semester...oops. definitely taking a fun class next semester, maybe a dance one? we shall see.

Man, i'm so busy i can't even remember what i did monday! i did go to a fictionist concert with tan man last night. i can't believe they got signed to atlantic records!!! i'm so happy for them, they are a great group of guys. I'm thankful that Jordan got me hooked on them (its helps his brother is the drummer hehe).

I also played soccer yesterday with mr. amazing adam. we've just had soccer filled days this week, i love it.

Today I am grateful to be alive. yes, i almost had a near death experience yesterday. I plugged in my laptop charger to an outlet in my Book of Mormon class (of all places!!!) and it EXPLODED. sparks and and smoke and everything!!! I'm very grateful to not have been electrocuted! Anyways, all it did was fry the extension cord part of my charger. I'm filling out a property damage thing so BYU can buy me a new one. Sheesh, idk why God was trying to smite me right there!

Aaaand thats it for now. I have about a billion and a half chapters to read for various classes, a soccer game to attend and then more reading planned for today. This place is seriously no American River College! Time for my favorite class now; Nutrition!

Oh and btw, I officially decided to pursue a Bachelors in Dietetics now instead of nursing...it took lots of praying and fasting and contemplating (like four months worth!), but last Sunday the answer just hit my like a ton of bricks right in the middle of Sacrament meeting. I can't wait, i'm so passionate about being healthy! I know its the right choice :)
