Developing Your Talents

First off, I am SO grateful for this Christmas and being able to spend time with my family. My Grandma's birthday is on Christmas Eve, so we always go to her house in San Francisco and celebrate. My family is crazy and loud and above all else, loving. They just make every moment we're together fun. To be honest, I'm not the "gift" kind of gal. I LOVE handwritten notes and handmade things over material, store-bought items. I kind of cringe when I see a present wrapped up for me to open (but I'm still very thankful for whatever it is!). But it was fun watching my Grandma open her mountain of presents, birthday and Christmas combined! And then I got to skype Elder Fegan. Luckily I made it, driving back from San Fran is always hit and miss with traffic. But I got to see his smiley face and talk to him about things too long to write in letters. I can't believe it's only 5 more months til he's home! I hope he gets into BYU so he can go to school with me next Fall :)

So, I get home at like 7pm and I'm sitting in bed and I'm ready to go to sleep at like 8:30pm...then I get on Pinterest and get addicted to DIY things. Maybe one of my New Year's resolutions is to be more crafty, I definitely need help in that department.

Oh, and concerning the title of my blog post...my sister is a boss at photoshopping things. So she took my normal picture of the Sacramento Temple and made it AWESOME, plus put an epic quote on it that I found.

I love her so much, she's the person I was looking forward to seeing most when I got home! Okay, only one more week left til its back to the grind. What should I do?!? I definitely know that I'm gonna start running this week so I can start getting in shape for my co-ed intramural soccer team starting the week school starts, I'm SOOOO excited to play again! Alright, time for bed. Hope everyone had a wonderful, Christ-filled Christmas!
