Somewhere with you

I think I'm going to start naming my blogs after the song I'm listening to at that moment. So right now, its Tyler Ward's version of "Somewhere With You". He's amazing, youtube him if you already haven't!

So I've neglected to write for a while because I don't really know what to say! This semester is going to be VERY busy, but I definitely handling it better than I did last semester. I seriously have no clue what was wrong with me when I first moved out here. Probably just a combination of new town, new school, new job, no friends here (like 1)...NEW EVERYTHING. But this semester its so amazing to walk into class and see someone you know, it literally makes me smile the rest of the day. And everything is going great with the basketball team, except the first and last week of classes is always crazy. And we're all comfortable with each other, which has its ups and downs. They try to get out of things more now, but I'm staying strong! Even though they are like a foot and a half taller than me...

I got three new roommates for this semester and we all get along GREAT! Last night 5 out of the 6 of us just stayed up and talked waaaay later than we should have, but I had so much fun getting to know them better and have a nice little bonding session :) And our apartment is SUPER clean all the time!

So one thing thats been bothering me lately is my, well, single status. I'm enjoying all this time I get to myself to study and workout (my legs are so flippin' sore right now) and I love the people I'm getting to know by going on dates...but all this dating has helped me realize how much I like being in a relationship. And I think its kind of ironic that the one place I'm single for the longest is stinkin' Provo, hahaha. It was kind of hard seeing so many people I know getting engaged and married over break (it was a ridiculous amount, congrats everyone :) ). I'm not particularly husband hungry or anything, don't get me wrong! I just miss how that special person becomes the one you like to spend all your time with, the one you can talk to for hours, the one that sends you cute goodnight texts before you fall asleep and sends you another cute one to wake up to in the morning. But I feel like Heavenly Father has something good planned for me because I keep getting this strong prompting to be super patient. And I can tell ya, I've had some patience tests the last week, way more than usual. So, I'm patiently waiting for Mr. Wonderful :) My new love for now is Pinterest! Sure it helps you procrastinate, but there is some amazing stuff on there. I love it's fitness, food and DIY section. To end this post, here's a cute pic from that very site:

Practice patience this week, you'll receive blessings. I promise :)
