I just finished a really good book ("Kissing a Frog: Four Steps to Finding Comfort Outside Your Comfort Zone" by Sharlene Hawkes) and boy did I learn a lot. I usually don't like marking up books, but I highlighted SO many things in this one. It really got me thinking about what I want to accomplish in life. It helps you pinpoint things that are holding you back, things that can propel you forward, then she gives you step by step advice on how to step outside your comfort and achieve your goals. By the time I finished I felt like I could take on the world. When I read that quote above I decided to make list of 10 things I would want to do. Just to name the first ones that came to mind:
1. Become the President of the United States of America
2. Become a Supreme Court Justice.
3. Have all my children be active in the Church.
Sound a little crazy? Maybe. But its possible. Anything is possible. Obviously these big dreams won't come over night. If they ever happen, it won't be for decades. And even if these goals don't come to pass, think of all the amazing experiences that will come by walking through doors you were afraid to open, by taking that leap of faith, by looking fear in the face and deciding to overcoming it.
