Getting Older

Last night was another one of those night where I just thought to myself "I can feel myself getting older." I was playing indoor soccer and I got kicked in the ankle. Dead on. As hard as this guy could kick. I swore my ankle was broken. It sounded terrible on impact, look terrible, and was the worst pain I've ever felt. So after crying for an hour straight (and getting a ride home from the wonderful Michael Gallegos) my sister took me to the ER and we sat around for 4 hours, chatted with some really nice nurses and the xray tech, cracked jokes...and after all that the PA comes in to tell me its NOT broken, just terribly sprained. I was mostly excited out of my mind since I've never broken a bone, but a small part of me thought "I went through ALLLL that pain for nothing?!" But at least I won't have to be in a cast for the rest of the summer. Just on crutches for a good long while. So I started mulling it over in my head and I think I've decided to just stop playing soccer. I love the sport SO much, I love the feeling of scoring, dribbling and making a sweet move around someone. But I can't take the injuries anymore. I've busted my left ankle too many times to count, and now my right one most likely has a broken ligament in it. So in order to spare my poor ankles anymore grief, I just done. I'll become the best soccer fan ever instead :)
(My sister took photos the whole time we were at the ER, haha)

On a much happier note, my favorite boy came to visit thursday through monday! I felt bad because half the time I didn't know what to do with him, Sacramento isn't too exciting. But any time I get to spend with him is the worth it, even if we're just shaving my dog...which we did. I hate saying goodbye though. But just another two weeks til I get to see him again!
(This pic is goofy, but I like it)

So I talked to my boss and I'll be working part time at my current job starting in June, and the other part time I'll be helping my Dad deliver ice cream! I'm kind of excited, I always loved selling ice cream at snack bars or after school with him. Now he'll just drop off the product at his stops and I'll follow behind him and shelve the product for him. Ya for a family business! I need to put a picture up of his logo that I drew for the company, its pretty cool.

Annnnd Samuel Jacob Fegan gets home in exactly a week. One. Week. Where did those two years ago?!
