Stating the Obvious

Everyone and their mother is getting engaged/having babies. (congrats everyone! ha). Thats all I'm gonna say on that topic.

Let's see, let's see what's been going on in life...have I mentioned I love crockpots? I forgot to mention that while Landon was here, we made a cake. In a crockpot. Oh ya! I really wanted cupcakes and we bought the mix and everything, but then I forgot that my oven is broken...luckily Landon suggested we try it in a crockpot and it turned out SUPER good! Except instead of a cup of water we used a cup of sprite (also Landon's idea). I also made hard-boiled eggs in it saturday...they were bomb. Aaaaand today I made turkey meat seasoned with taco mix. And homemade hummus. And yogurt dipped blueberries (those last two were in the pot)....I felt like a homemaker today, I swear.

I get to give a talk this coming Sunday at church! My topic is on the talk "keeping the Sabbath day holy". I'm so excited, the only "talk" I've really given was at stake conference in Provo near thanksgiving, but that was "share your conversion story"...but there were still A LOT of people.

And only a month left til I head back to Utah! The anticipation is killing me...
