All Is Well

I love when people ask "what's you favorite day of the week?". Most people answer Friday, some Saturday, but the only day that sticks out in my mind is Sunday! And how could it not? Its the Sabbath day, a day of rest and spiritual rejuvenation. Its the day of the week that refreshes my soul and makes me remember what is most important in life. I love the lessons I learn at Church and the answers to prayers I receive...plus everyone just looks their best. Today was especially good, our Bishop and his wife are incredible people. Plus, Elder Dallin H. Oaks and his wife spoke at the fireside tonight and they were both INCREDIBLE as well. The leaders of our church are so inspiring! (this is the thing I'm most grateful for today!)

Anyways, life at BYU has been rough for the first few weeks, not gonna lie. I left an amazing group of friends in Sacramento and came here to complete strangers. And for some reason my confidence and socialbility was just not on fire for a looong time, and I was starting to get a little depressed. But this week has by far improved my mood, my prayers have finally been answered. I've been hanging and meeting lots of really fun people and my roommates and I have been getting along great. And I don't know what it is about BYU, but ever since school started I feel like I can do anything. My possibilities feel boundless. I feel more intelligent, more spiritual, more organized, more fit...everything has just been going up hill (minus my social life, but that is now on the climb as well). I just feel so motivated to be a better person! Its probably all the talks I've been reading about being "prepared" to be a wife and mother...not that that is on the horizon anytime soon. But not that I'm against it or anything...okay whatever haha.

Okay more studying anatomy...and geology....and chemistry. I totally don't feel overwhelmed or anything :)
