So yesterday the only thing I did was pretty much 1) Work 2) Class for an hour...then 3) did Geology for literally 6 hours. I'm kinda ticked some of my credits didn't transfer from AR because now I'm stuck taking bothersome GEs, like Geology. Do I REALLY need to know how many types of intrusive and extrusive rocks there are? Or all the different types of magma? And then people actually major in this...oh goodness.
But I did get a really good workout in at night. I love going to the gym (for free!) here at like 8:30 at night and then getting a good swim workout in afterwards. I've been swimming close to 2000 yards which is a good amount considering I haven't legitimately swam laps for about a year. But there were lots of fast swimmers in the pool last night so I was more motivated.
So today the agenda consists of work, class, study for days, cooking group, then temple to do baptisms! I haven't gone yet so its about time, I was slackin'.
I'm having a hard time balancing my life, mainly socially. All I do after class is just come home and study more, which is lame but I guess its what needs to be done. I'm trying to get my nursing application in too by next week so thats kinda stressful! All this hard work will be worth it in the end though.
Yesterday I was grateful for the devotional given by Elder Anderson on Honesty. One really great quote he said was "the truths we seek reveal the person we are".
K, time to mentor some basketball players.
