*good ol' Beibs. I woke up with this song stuck in my head, and when one roommate starts humming something the rest of us start singing too. Baby baby baby ohhhh!*
Again, having a hard time finding something to write about without turning to the normal "let me complain about my life" topic. So just to update, this week is insane. I literally might go crazy after I'm done. But it feels good because I've never invested myself so much in school. I have FIVE exams this week (what is this finals week?!) On top of that, I went to three review sessions yesterday and I have another one today. Holy cow, this is college I guess!
Anyone else addicted to Pinterest? What am I talking about, of course every girl out there is! Anyways, since I am "curling my hair with a curling iron" challenged, I've never really tried it before. BUT thanks to this website's awesomeness, other people have shared ways to curl your hair without heat! This one way to do it uses a headband, and it is my favorite way to do it so far and I've gotten lots of compliments. It only takes like 5-10min at night to put your hair up, then maybe another five in the morning to get it looking just right and presto! Cute curls galore. Here's a pic of me from today with the end result:
(Yes I'm at work...can't tell by the basketball poster in the back?)
Speaking of compliments, I need to get better at giving those out. Everyone knows how great it feel when someone comments on how cute your outfits looks or that they like your hair, especially when you tried that day. For instance, I've been going to the gym everyday (except Sundays) since getting back to Provo. I was doing an ab workout last night (the Ab Ripper X workout from P90X, yes it works. And yes it hurts) and was doing my last set when this girl standing next to me looks down and says "Wow, you're intense!." And that one little phrase made me feel really good because I really do put a lot of effort into working out when I'm in the gym. Not to mention, I had just gotten my first parking ticket at BYU so I was a little bummed. So new goal: Everyday I'm going to compliment at least one person, if not more. Why not make someone feel good! You never know, you could make someone's downer day awesome.
Welp, back to the grind. Oh, and go out and compliment someone :)
I am SO jealous you can do the ab rippers!...I have to wait a couple more months before I can start that up again.
