So I'm all signed up to go to Spring term here at BYU, but right now my Summer is totally open. I want to do something crazy. Adventurous. I want to travel somewhere and get lost and see wonderful sights and meet new people- with accents preferably (even though I am TERRIBLE at understanding someone with an accent. Light or heavy, I'm a deer in headlights). I've been praying about it for a while now and this absolutely random impression keeps coming to me: Australia. I know, you're probably like "uhh what?" But it keeps coming back. I only know one person there and thats one of my Grandma's best friends. So maybe I need to start by talking to my Grandma about this...
I did do something kind of spontaneous the other night though! I went salsa dancing!...til 1am...on a Thursday night...ya talk about tired the next day for class. But it was super fun! I went with a group of people I didn't really know too well, but they were all awesome. and salsa dancing isn't too hard to learn! And when you dance with someone who's SUPER good, they kind of just lead you to know what to do. At one point this random guy was spinning me so much I thought I was gonna fall over, haha. Anyways, I would definitely recommend it to anyone! And I'm a terrible dancer but I had a great time and didn't step on too many people's feet (I did accidentally elbow a guy in the face though...oops)
So this isn't us salsa-ing...we took a break and did some karaoke. still fun! Good ol' backstreet boys tunes.
Everyone have a fun weekend! Time to go adventure now :)
I can't wait until I have the baby so Adrian and I can salsa again. It's really fun, isn't it?!!?!? When you get married (it's going to happen soon, you live in Utah!) you gotta double with me and Adrian and we will go salsa. :)
