New Year To-Do-List

2011 has been the best year of my life so far, hands down. I was lucky enough to be able to celebrate my one year baptism anniversary last night. Looking back on this year, I feel so blessed to have made so many wonderful friends, fallen in love with amazing people, moved to an buzzing new town, landed an incredible job and most importantly, grown closer to Heavenly Father and my Savior. I am grateful for this Church and everything this it stands for, every person a part of it and the incredible message of hope and faith is shares with the world. I'll never regret my decision to be baptized, I've been happy every single day since!

2012...I have no clue what you'll bring me. All I know is I will work my hardest at the things I desire because thats when good things come. I pray I fall head over heels with someone like I did back in 2010. I pray I fall in love with my new major. I pray I can teach myself piano. I pray I don't break anything playing co-ed soccer at BYU! I kind of feel unstoppable this new year, like I can tackle anything now.

Today in church we got a booklet called "Teachings of Presidents of the Church: George Albert Smith" and inside he wrote down 11 ideals he called his "personal creed". They're all amazing points and very fitting for anyone looking for New Year Resolutions, but here is one that struck me the most:

"I would not knowingly wound the feelings of any, not even one who may have wronged me, but would seek to do him good and make him my friend"

Not saying I'm a mean person, but who doesn't need to improve on dismissing those little judgmental, nasty thoughts that pop up in your head sometimes!

I'm going back to Utah Tuesday morning now instead of tomorrow! Yay!

And I can't believe this kid has been gone for a whole year! No one else has made me laugh as hard as Jordan, I can't wait til he gets back so we can start crackin' jokes again like old times.

Hope everyone had a Happy New Years, work hard at whatever goals you set for yourself :)
